Harris chuckles at an 'election packed with some stuff'
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris struggled to hold back her laughter while emphasizing the significance of the upcoming presidential election during a campaign event in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Friday. “Packed with some stuff,” she remarked about the election while engaging with voters without the aid of a teleprompter.

Harris conveyed to her supporters that the stakes of the upcoming election and America's role as a “role model” for democracy “weighs on me sometimes.” She added, “When we think about what’s at stake in this election – well, it’s packed with some stuff,” before breaking into a fit of laughter. “I say rather articulately,” she continued, still giggling.

Her attempt to simplify the complexities of the election elicited cheers from her supporters, but social media users criticized her for her lack of eloquence and her well-known “cackling.”

High Or Drunk: You decide! “When we think about what’s at stake in this election – well it’s packed with some stuff! Some fundamental stuff! *cackles* I say rather articulately.” Kamala Harris is undoubtedly the worst Presidential candidate in our lifetime! pic.twitter.com/Lr5alR7zCA — John Cremeans USA October 11, 2024

In response to Harris’s remarks, Fox News contributor Steve Cortes expressed on social media that “Kamala Harris without a teleprompter is the Democrat Party’s worst nightmare,” referring to her speech as “brutal to watch.”

Another social media user suggested that her “cackle” might be a cover for her “insecurity and ineptness,” while others questioned how anyone could consider her a viable candidate for any office, especially the presidency.

Critics have often targeted Harris's distinctive laughter. Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously lightheartedly commented that her “infectiously” joyful laughter might indicate a positive outlook, implying that it could lead her to avoid pursuing further sanctions against Russia. This light-hearted 'endorsement' quickly gained attention from U.S. media, prompting the White House to request that Putin refrain from discussing American elections.

Later, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov clarified that Putin merely possesses “a good sense of humor” and that his remarks about Harris were in jest. He also stated that it made little difference to Moscow who wins the election, claiming that Washington was under the influence of the “notorious ‘deep state.’”
