Many billionaires backing US Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming November election harbor fears that Jeffrey Epstein’s client list could be made public if Donald Trump wins. Epstein, who was a financier and socialized among the elite for decades, faced arrest in 2019 for trafficking young women, including minors, to influential associates. He often transported them to his private Caribbean island. The FBI has gathered evidence, including a list of Epstein’s “guests,” but it remains sealed even after Epstein’s suspicious death in a Manhattan jail in 2019, which has been ruled a suicide.
Last month, Trump mentioned in an interview with Lex Friedman that he might disclose Epstein’s “black book” if he wins the election.
In a conversation with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Monday, Musk characterized the Democratic party’s presidential candidate, Harris, as a “marionette” controlled by over a hundred “puppet masters,” most of whom he claims to know personally. He posited that there would likely be a significant overlap between the identities of these so-called “puppet masters” and those on the Epstein client list.
While he did not comment on the possibility of the list being revealed, Musk suggested that the considerable support behind Kamala Harris stems from the fact that “many billionaires are terrified” of its potential release should Trump emerge victorious. He indicated that individuals like LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman and Microsoft’s Bill Gates are particularly anxious about the “Epstein situation,” worried that the Department of Justice could “move forward” with some of the evidence gathered.
Musk also highlighted the “mind blowing” reality that, after many years, the US Justice system has not prosecuted anyone from Epstein’s client list despite focusing on those involved in the January 6 Capitol riots. “There’s about 500-600 January 6 protesters in prison and not one person on the Epstein client list,” he remarked.
